Here is a wonderful tune by young American pianist Robert Glasper. Glasper’s talents have seen him perform in the bands of huge artists such as Terence Blanchard and Russell Malone amongst many others.

We are looking for an emerging new Jazz artist, someone hugely talented, with great natural musicianship, charisma and artistic quality.

We are looking for someone within the Jazz genre or influenced by Jazz, so this could encompass Blues, Cabaret, Big Band, Swing or ‘Sophisticated’ Musical Theatre genre. We are NOT looking for pop artists.

We are looking for singers and musicians, including songwriters.

There is no upper age limit. You simply need to be a British resident over the age of 16 to apply.

MASTERCLASSES

Over the course of the competition, successful performers may be invited to take part in one or a series of Masterclasses with leading artists.*

IF YOU ARE SUCCESSFUL

If your application is successful, you will be auditioned and put through an intensive interview before being selected to go forward to our live shows.

During the competition, you may also receive direction, coaching, advice and guidance, feedback and objective critique on your act, your performance and your career.*

If you make it through to the live finals you will perform your act in a production show in front of a panel of distinguished judges and a live audience.

We’ve gone for very “jazz club” look with our new site design. We hope you lke the neon signs above…. we were definatly thinkng bout Ronny Scott’s when when we were designing it, the lights of Soho.
